Jackie Maes
Jackie Maes is Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Maes Holdings,
a Springfield-based family of businesses built on one belief: when people have access to good care, good food, and good education, families and communities thrive. An educator at heart, Jackie holds a master's degree in gifted education and co-founded Discovery School at the Discovery Center, winning the inaugural Yass Prize in education. Today, alongside her husband, Dr. Earl Maes, she leads operations across a diverse portfolio: Health Hub Clinic, a Direct Primary Care practice helping Ozarks families and employers with accessible, affordable healthcare; Health Guardian Imaging Center, focused on preventative screening and diagnostic exams; Bright Quest Learning, an AI-powered educational platform; and MF Moo Ranch, which brings grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, milk and eggs directly to local tables. Jackie's leadership blends imagination with operational discipline. She builds the systems, policies, and people that let small, mission-driven teams do big work, from open-book management that gives every employee a stake in the results to the planning that keeps patients and staff safe. Through it all, her proudest role is mom to a blended family of eight children and two grandchildren. Jackie believes a business should be an extension of the life you want to build, rooted in family, purpose, and service to the 417.

One of our patients with a complicated medical problem requiring multiple site visits told me, “I’m so glad I’m back with you guys where you actually care about me”. Operationally, we want our patients to experience care like they have never gotten elsewhere before. This means extra care taken on our spa like décor for our patients who have PTSD around medical procedures, hiring kind and friendly staff who are also experts in their field, and going out of our way to make sure everyone has what they need. It takes courage to build something that has never existed, and even more courage to disrupt a broken system. Every person who walks into our clinic or imaging center is treated with compassion, and our team does not stop until we get to the root of their health challenges. In many ways that looks like coming in on our day off to scan a knee to save a patient thousands of dollars, giving up a Saturday to raise funds for a patient who was recently diagnosed with cancer, or saving a patient from bankruptcy with an issue that could be treated in our clinic instead of getting billed 13 different ways elsewhere. Our organization is committed to innovating new ways patients experience care. The practice offers real connection and appointments that allow providers to understand all the patient’s needs with affordable transparent pricing. Leadership
Our facility is one of the only in the entire country combining Direct Primary Care, an advanced Imaging Center, and full lab all in one building. We are the only one in the country combining these services under one roof that also offers preventative screening exams. Most Imaging Centers are diagnostic, meaning patients must present with a concern and have a doctor’s order before receiving a diagnostic exam. At Health Guardian Imaging, we offer self-referred screening exams to ensure your body is completely well and healthy before symptoms start to appear. These lifesaving screening exams have already detected cancer, artery blockages in the heart, aortic aneurysms, and more. We built something that did not exist in order to save lives and save our patients' hard-earned money. We have also become a clinical research site of Infinite Research Group, bringing 27 years of clinical research experience to illnesses such as Alzheimer’s, migraines, multiple sclerosis, hypertension, and more. Giving our patients who may not have insurance the medicines of tomorrow today is one example of how we are leading this healthcare revolution.
